Short Description:
Description These AECO XLR connectors are a newly improved revision, we’ve been waiting a long time for these. Beautifully machined outer shells, Tellurium Copper signal pins set in Teflon and really simple to assemble design with great options for strain relief.  

Mechanical structure:

The contacts on both connectors are set in Teflon, signal pins are hollow tellurium copper with the ground pin being brass, all are direct gold plated with no initial base plating underneath.
The body of the connector unscrews for access to the solder points. there is a POM reducing sleeve fixed with a grub screw.
The cable entry is 8.5mm with the plastic sleeve and without sleeve is 12.5mm. The female connector has no locking button but they are compatible with all generic XLR connectors.
Material: Contact pin: Tellurium copper (#C14500 / copper contains over 99%). Shell ground pin: Male – Brass alloy (#C3604). Female – Tellurium copper (#C14500 / copper contains over 99%).
Insulator: PTFE Body:Brass alloy (#C3604). Shell: Brass alloy (#C3604). Sleeve: POM .
Screw: Iron. Finish: Contact pin: 10u” Gold plating (no nickel base). Shell ground pin:10u” Gold plating (no nickel base). Insulator: None. Body:Male – Satin Nickel + Topcoat. Female – 10u” Gold plating (no nickel base). Shell:Satin Nickel + Topcoat. Plastic Steel: None. Screw: Nickel plating. Electrical Characteristics: Contact resistance < 1.0 mOhm (It was tested by Ami-1060.)
