Description
The Chupacabra is a no-compromise analogue interconnect woven from
12 × 26 AWG 5N OCC pure silver conductors. We cryogenically treat the silver to relieve lattice stress and
enhance uniformity, helping reduce micro-distortions and contact resistance. Combined with our Teflon/air dielectric and
custom solid tellurium-copper RCA terminations, the result is a ruthlessly quiet background, vivid micro-detail, and effortless dynamics.
OCC 5N Pure Silver (Cryo)
Ohno Continuous Cast single-crystal conductors minimise grain boundaries for cleaner electron flow.
Cryogenic treatment further stress-relieves the metal, improving focus, low-level resolution and treble smoothness.
12-Core Hand-Braided Geometry
A precise weave enhances symmetry and rejects external noise, yielding lower perceived noise floor, wider soundstage and tighter bass articulation.
Teflon / Air Dielectric
Teflon’s ultra-low dielectric constant with deliberate air spacing reduces stored energy and capacitance—preserving transient speed and tonal neutrality.
Tellurium-Copper RCAs
Our bespoke connectors use solid tellurium copper for both shell and hollow centre pin (direct silver-plated), outperforming brass designs for conductivity and tone.
