Description
A compact, right-angled 5-pin 240° tonearm DIN connector built around
tellurium copper contacts for the cleanest possible signal from your cartridge to phono stage.
Why Tellurium Copper?
Tellurium copper delivers very high conductivity with far better mechanical strength than pure copper.
That means low contact resistance, crisp transients, and reliable long-term clamping without softening or deformation.
Right-Angle, Tidy Installs
The 90° body keeps the cable close to the arm base, improving clearance on tight racks and
reducing stress on delicate tonearm wiring. Ideal where a straight plug would protrude too far.
Built for Premium DIY
Solder-cup terminations make it straightforward to attach L/R hot, L/R return and chassis/arm earth.
Optimised for low-capacitance tonearm leads and high-purity conductors.

| Use Case | DIY/upgrade tonearm leads from cartridge to phono stage (phono-level signals) |
Compatibility
Fits tonearms that use the standard 5-pin 240° DIN socket at the arm base, including many models by SME, Jelco, Ortofon, Audiomods and others.
- Check clearance behind the arm pillar for a right-angled plug.
- Not for DIN variants other than 5-pin 240° (e.g., 5-pin 180°).
Build & Solder Notes
- Slide any boot/strain relief and heatshrink onto the cable first.
- Pre-tin the solder cups and your conductors with a fine electronics soldering iron.
- Wire order: L+, L-(return), R+, R-(return), chassis/arm earth per your chosen pinout.
- Keep leads short, avoid excess heat; allow each joint to cool fully.
- Fit the boot/strain relief and verify secure clamping before final assembly.
FAQ & Support
Unsure about clearance or pinout? Message us and we’ll advise. We build custom tonearm cables in-house if you’d prefer a finished lead.
For sealed connectors the products must be unused and unopened.
If anything arrives damaged or faulty, please message us and we’ll make it right.
